About the Consultation
Companies are not reducing emissions fast enough. In order to meet their ambitious climate targets, they need the tools to enable more rapid progress.
The Scope 3 Claim offers a mechanism to enable companies to act on scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions they have not been able to reduce.
VCMI has initiated a public consultation on strengthening the Scope 3 Claim as part of the wider beta development process. The consultation will help shape a robust, impactful Scope 3 Claim that will give companies the confidence to go further, faster.
VCMI welcomes wide-ranging stakeholder input to ensure the perspectives diverse groups will be at the heart of the consultation process.
